    Dubai Beaches: Desert Beauties

It may be hard to believe, but some of the most beautiful beaches in the world can be found in the Middle East, particularly in Dubai.

Known for their pristine white sands, Dubai Beaches truly raise eyebrows, as one would think that such wonders wouldn't even exist in such a humid place, but the fact of the matter is they do, some spanning over one hundred hectares.

From the Jumeira Road, one could pretty much access the mains of Dubai beaches. The road is basically a long strip running through Dubai's coast, where public beaches are positioned interspacing hotels and private beach clubs. Most of Dubai Beaches have their picnic areas, as well as food stalls and barbecue spots.

Here are some of the most popular Dubai beaches.

    The Al Mamzar Beach Park

Spanning over more than one hundred hectares, to call the Al Mamzar Beach Park big would be an understatement. With picnic areas, swimming pools, and green grassy spots, the Al Mamzar Beach Park is really the venue for wholesome family fun. As with most other Dubai beaches, the park is exclusively open to children and women only on Wednesdays. The Persian Gulf's Turquoise waters really show their glimmer from the Al Mamzar Beach Park.

The Dubai Creek and Creekside Park

The Dubai Creek is a saltwater thoroughfare which divides Dubai city's Deira and Bur Dubai areas. The creek is pretty much filled with activity, as dhows from Eastern Africa and India pass through it, making it an avenue for guests to see Dubai's landmarks from a more "coastal" angle.

The Creekside Park is located near the creek, towards the southern banks of the Dubai Creek. It is ideal for business men and families as well, with a mini-golf course, fishing jetties, and a lush botanical garden, which houses over 250 species of flowers and plants.

The Jumeirah Beach Public Beach and Jumeirah Beach Park

Clean and beautiful, the Jumeirah Beach Public Beach spans over twelve hectares, and is among the most popular of Dubai beaches. With food stalls, picnic tables, and children's play areas, the Jumeirah Beach Park is one for families and friends alike. On-duty lifeguards keep watch, maintaining the overall safety of swimmers, while the presence of shower facilities, as well as designated dressing rooms, stand for the convenience of all. As with most Dubai beaches, Wednesdays are reserved for women and children only.

The above mentioned Dubai beaches are simply among the few beaches that can be found in Dubai. They really bring about the beauty of the Persian Gulf.
